The Anxious Fireman was born out of my own struggles with anxiety. After years of fighting it, I sought help and support.
From this the anxius fireman was born on Twitter as I began to talk openly.
Through a process of therapy, medication, self discovery and learning I began to talk openly about my mental health difficulties.
I was asked to do public speaking events and training to be a mental health first aid instructor.
I studied to Masters level, worked aongside some highly experienced mental health professionals and heled built a wellbeing team in the Fire Service.
I combine being a front line manager in the Fire and Rescue Service, being a highly qualified psychotherpaist and mental health professional and being a very experienced instructor to bring you unparralled training in mental health.
I always keep fire in my life!
